no prob! i think the story has a ton of potential and i’m actually pretty into all the mythos mentioned within the story, and the 1920s setting is really pulling me in haha. don’t see that often enough and it’s pretty refreshing after all the modern settings i usually see.

SPOILERS. not sure if i’m totally correct but this is as much as i know rn
the uke (Seolwon), is a “peach boy”— raised to be the playthings of the upper class in this world due to their ability to bestow beads containing their blessings to others and their inborn fragrance and allure.
the seme (Jaeyi), is a python who failed to become a dragon; suffering from seizures every night, he’s been searching far and wide for a cure to his ailments and the beads of the peach boys seem to be the cure
Peach boys can either spit out peach beads, which contain the blessings of peach boys at the cost of their lives, or spit out peach seeds, which causes whoever ingests the seeds to grow into a peach tree, falling prey to the peach boys (caused by hatred harboured by the peach boy).
Jaeyi is intrinsically tied to Meng Zhong Meng (literal TL: a dream within a dream), the casino he operates that aligns with his desires, built upon a mountain with abundant gold resources. This has led the casino being frequented by those who want a part of the gold, though none have returned. The casino flourishes when Jaeyi is in good condition, falling apart when he isn’t. Jaeyi is able to kill(?) those trapped within his casino for their riches, but this also has a burden upon his well-being.
Seolwon was raised by specialists in raising peach boys, and was not sold during the auction because his feet hadn’t been bound correctly, causing him to be thrown out and subsequently bought by Jaeyi. He finds himself in Mengzhongmeng, and is told that he is to serve Jaeyi and cure him of his ails.
The first two times had been unsuccessful as Seolwon failed to give Jaeyi his bead, though a third attempt was made when they ventured into a place closer to the heavenly realm, in which Seolwon finally gave Jaeyi his bead (which would kill him eventually).
When Jaeyi returns to Mengzhongmeng, he’s cured of his illness but now sees visions of Seolwon cleaning his room everyday at 7am. He decides to go back and try to save Seolwon, knowing of his impending doom. However he also needs a peach bead himself, and tries to get one at the pawn shop at the doorway to the alternate realm where Seolwon is. He does manage to find one there, which presumably belongs to the aforementioned redhead, as he was bought by a few noblemen as a birthday gift and caused the person he had sex with to grow into a peach tree.
