    I think the uke got raped by his senpai back in university so he developed a fear of people and maybe some bad eating habits. I also think he is subconsciously replaying the memory through his stories.

    I agree--except I think he is purposefully replaying the memory in his stories--but subconsciously tying them to the baker for reasons we have not yet been told.

    I'm thinking that he sees the baker as a sort of alternate?
    Like perhaps he had a crush on his senpai but discovered he was actually kind of an ass
