It is pretty realistic when comparing it to how people change in rl but it's the internet. As soon as a character does something bad people will flock around them gathering together and insulting that character as well as the author for putting it. If it's a toxic story like this, they'll insult the character and complain and say they're gonna drop it when everyone knows only a few of them really mean it for the entirety of the story and when there finally is a redemption ark then some will continue to complain, others will be happy they're finally trying to redeem themselves, and others will say it's not good enough. But then you have the group that just stays quiet about the whole thing bc they're opinion doesn't go exactly with others and probably have experience of getting insulted and told to go to hell or they're disgusting. Idk why I put all that but even if you try to point out the obvious it's most likely not gonna change anything sadly because it is an abusive story
Bold of you to assume to think that there might be a redemption arc in this I think this just might be straight up toxic.
Mingwa did do that for bj Alex, so it's safe to assume she will do it for jinx (though I wouldn't call what happened in bj Alex redemption)
Honestly guys I get how it's hard to read abuse for 50 chapters, but this is just a buildup for a much longer arc of Jaekyung's redemption and Dan's path to self love. People don't just change immediately and this portrayal is pretty realistic
