It's okay (don't mind me if you genuinely liked it though)

I feel like I loved the vibe of the piece more than the piece itself. The art style is amazing, I adore the color palette, and I am always a sucker for summer stories involving the sound of cicadas. I think the small references to the book at the beginning and end were written beautifully.
That being said, I don't particularly love the main couple. Someone mentioned in their comment that it felt really rushed and I completely agree. I don't feel an emotional connection to the characters or their relationships, and there is hardly anything deeper that we can see. For a short piece like this, I can understand that it isn't going to dive too deeply, but it made the characters feel flat.
I am also never a huge fan of the "dating the sibling of unrequited love/ex" trope. It can be done well in some cases, but even then, I don't love it. This case was not done very well, we hardly see anything that would suggest Namwoo's attraction to Yeoreum. It's just hard to believe he could genuinely fall for Yeoreum like that without making him into a replacement.
Sorry, this is a really long critique, but I like seeing if people share my opinions or if they have counterarguments to my claims. This manhwa can still work, it just isn't my cup of tea and I feel like the execution could have been much better.
