yeah i would have felt bad for her but she was such a biatch towards Nav in the beginning. I get she didn't know any better and thought that was how she was going to keep the emporer but sovishit was never planning on keeping her anyways, and Nav is resiliant so she sisn't fall for it. I'm glad other people agree. She was sold by her dad, treated like shit as a slave, abandoned by her lover who's father/her owner pretended to kill her baby. Heroized an empress to the point she thought she would be welcomed into the harem with open arms, treated like the emperor's favorite pet/sex toy, used in a ploy to get what he wanted when SHE thought they were in love. She can't even hold her own baby without the trauma of the fake murder of her first kid causing her to lose her mind. I hate the things she does, but can't really hate HER.

I like how yall mention this but don't ever mention the parts where she still bullied navier, her maids(she even cut off a maid's tounge), murdered her old nanny, etc.

I get that u hate her, but u can't ignore the fact that rashta acts like a child and has trust issues due to her becoming, she even say things like "rashta doesn't like this" "rashta hates that". I can only see her as a girl who has mental issues from her childhood and/or a villainess for a dumb reason.

idk at the end of the day its fiction but whether it be fiction or not I can't excuse murder (unless it was done for self defense) so i can't even sympathize with her even if she did have past trauma. I also just really feel bad for that maid for some reason lol. While I acknowledge that Rasta has had a bad hand in life, I struggle to sympathize with her. Sovushit is definitely in the wrong, and he’s getting his due (and will until the end), but she kept digging her own grave instead of learning from her mistakes. Navier (begrudgingly) tried to help her by telling Rashta who to get advice from, but she allowed her hate to cloud her judgement and kept getting herself in trouble. She also allowed her own arrogance to make herself believe that every man would love her (that’s why she went after Duke Kaufman and Heinry). Ultimately she is a pitiful character, who brought about her own demise (with the help of Elgy’s machinations).

I completely agree, rashta was a slave she was mistreated her whole life, she had no choice to save herself from slavery. she got too greedy and sovieshit put some ideas in her head. From slave to empress it just makes you go insane it's too much. If she met a regluar person who just loved her for who she was I bet she wouldn't bave turned so bad.
