With the amount of sex the couple have, their jar should be full twice over. Seriously, they have sex at the most absurd of times. Eg. Straight after one of them woke up from a 4 day coma with an abdominal injury x the other one straight out of a brutal gangrape complaining about pains all over his body. The pearl thing was just a plot device for the numerous sexual assaults and rapes. It doesn't add much to the plot. I mean they don't do anything with the pearls. Cut out the pearls thing, the story would stay the same imo
