As soon as Jaewoo came out of the book he wants to go straight back in. Does he have no one in reality to check in on? No parents/family/friends who he cares about? Is there no one in the real world, other than the one friend, who missed him when he's gone? MC makes no sense. Any reasonable person would want to tie up loose ends first, say their proper goodbyes etc. before zipping out of existence.
