why do I have this sneaky suspicion that she isn't apart of the adis lineage. that she's the daughter of someone the duke was obsessed with and he's now projecting that obsession onto her daughter whom he adopted after her mother's death.. is it bc I dunwana believe the author is romanticizing incest?
