gorgeous art and a captivating plot. the first few chapters really draw you in. i did become a little disappointed that even with all that happened and the 4 year time skip that daichi didn’t seem to build much of a backbone. i know his character type is supposed to be the sweet, naive and sincere type but for him to be the one to continually chase after tatsumi and want to heal him is a bit frustrating. i think when daichi said he was emotionally unstable it was on point. he’s so desperate and clingy because he doesn’t want to be abandoned by the person who he found that he felt connected to. tatsumi has done barely anything to be deserving of the devotion that daichi has for him (yes he saved him from being raped but that whole situation was tied to tatsumi being a dick in the first place). anyways now im just rambling but i really do like this story and the potential for daichi and tatsumi to be more open with each other. im really intrigued with the yakuza plot and tatsumi’s old friend from the orphanage.
