Personally I feel like the author is giving her he staying-single-finding-myself-rn treatment which succs imo. Personally it's too convenient and repetitive if she falls for Leah bc like... So BOTH Yuri and Hwa won just ends up w their childhood friends?? How convenient. How boring. Personally
I feel like Yuri and Hwa won would make a more compelling and interesting relationship bc then they would WANT each other rather than Yuri and Eun Hye who seem like they NEED each other in order to not be alone ever since they were kids. So feels more like a codependency thing rather than real feelings of attraction
I feel as though Hwa won secretly loves Leah and by denying to break up with Yuri, that means she's denying those feelings for Leah because they are simply too complicated for her to bother. Hwa won, as shown throughout the series, loves the easy way out. So I wouldn't be surprised if what I said was true. But then again I also believe she'll end up with no one and live her sad, miserable, and bitter life alone
