think about it from her perspective. She threw away everything, her life, her freedom for a marriage she never wished. She was married to a man that didn't really love her at the begining, she thinks he is still inlove with his previous lover and would never ever come to love her even if she put in effort, She is abused by her inlaws throughout her married life. All her life she sacrificed some of her most important choices for the benefit of others. I think it's only right that she can finally be able to actually care about herself and ONLY herself.
