100% agree with you HOWEVER Lucia does was a child. She’s always wanted one but she chooses to stay infertile because of her husband.
But yes it also frustrates me that they force her to be cured when she chose not to. Even after reading the novel it still pisses me off
I bet you got frustrated when Hue and Lucia fought about getting treatment. Then Lucia asked him what if she gets pregrant after being treated. The Hue fcking said "then it won't be mine"
There were so many emotions I was going through reading that part I understood both sides of that since he knew he couldn’t get her pregnant but wouldn’t say anything and she took offense to it since it was like he’s saying she would cheat. There were so many misunderstandings because he wouldn’t tell her his history
Reading the novel you really see their growth. It’s the perfect pace since it does take them a while to finally admit their feelings but it’s not too slow of a burn and you really see them grow together as a couple
NOT that she would cheat (my bad). That he wouldn’t consider the kid his, yet he already has a kid that he acknowledges (who isn’t actually his kid but she didn’t know that yet)
