… it could have skipped Toshiomi’s sudden blindness arc, or at least had a better final page because it confused so many folks. I mean, I do like how the final panels are a call back when he first met with Yuri and that him not handing over his coat is out of respect for her. But using the final panel like that felt weird. Like two more pages with Toshiomi coming home and hugging Yuri would be the perfect send off. Honestly, I want to know what happened to his father too since he was so much deep in grief over Iori.
Either way, this is a really great series and I’m tempted to reread sometime in the future!
