I want to defend the FL. She is not someone who is good at being affectionate to someone she loves since she didn't not come from a family that gives her enough affection. In fact, I think her love language is definitely act of service. She noticed everything the ML likes for example the red bean jelly, gifting him clothes and et cetera. I think her love for him appears as early before he "died" because let's face it, she helped to make his territory grow and make it better. If it is me, I doubt I will stay behind with many burdens on my shoulder and pack up money to run away. Maybe she can start her new life somewhere else.
