Yes and no to my opinion.
Like he said himself, he would have liked to have the teacher as his dad. But at this age, all types of likes can mix together.
So yes he had a crush but very much on a platonic level and not something deep.
Well I've had crushes on teachers before. That's not inherently wrong, it's an innocent thing to have as a child. The thing is a teacher should not take advantage of a child's feelings in this way, it's like taking something adorable and innocent and using it as a perversion.
The teacher is soo disgusting i cannot. Also, I don't think 'crush' is the right word to describe it, i think more of a 'I admired' would've made more sense according to his the story.
