Nono I Totally agree. The other chapters had a fenomenal pace but this was just a bit too sudden for me. Like she goes from resolving to kill herself to then agreeing to live in exchange of being away from them- that I understand.
But then suddenly she's ok with everything? Some stories do that flip well but this one was a bit too fast
she still isn't okay with everything. novel to manhwa adaptations are tough because it's hard to illustrate nuance
like you can tell, she's still grappling with her guilt towards him and her actual feelings for him
and no, this isn't sudden
iirc this development has happened for a span of like ~1 year since he became an emperor
Yes yes I know it's hard to translate into drawing but the rythme seems off compared to before that's what i am trying to say

its not your fault, it's just a very complex novel (from what I've seen) is all
if you're a casual reader it might be tough to keep up with the thought process
even more so when it's an adaptation
me personally, I've worked in scanlation and I've worked closely with translators so I've made it a habit to read it with those notes in mind
also subpar translation really doesn't help
but not everyone has the same context

So I started it from the start again, because i wanted to read it again and to see the actual rhythm
So in the end it did quickened with the latest chapters but otherwise the story itself was quite fast so not that surprising anymore
