I think exactly this shows that they have progressed? Not talking for 3 days (maybe it wasn’t meant literally not talking not even a sentence but rather just short phrases like have you eaten..) and still be comfortable and not anxious or having the pressure about whether the other person is mad or that you have to occupy this person just shows how comfortable they got with each other
Modern society where dating is a mess? Not talking for a couple days is not a problem at all. In my opinion, you need to know how to be alone in order to maintain a relationship. Obviously it’s up to the couple, but I personally need a couple days to myself every now and again, especially if I’m overloaded from work and other social obligations. I don’t want to then feel obligated to be with my SO every single day
