I also stopped reading hideko shinaide because of that. However, I really end up liking them even more than any of this authors other couples! If you can let yourself get past the rape it really pays off. And I don't usually say that because I don't like how rapey things are in this genre. But this time I give them a pass.
Yes, I do like them so much , it helped that it is a long ongoing story and we see Maya bettering himself and them having the discussion about the rape and apologies were given. I love both these couples, just my favs, and the art is outstanding.

Never liked hideko shinaide because their relationship starts with rape. Dropped after chapter 7. Yaoi with uke falling for rapists is a big no no. Michiru Heya and Elektel are my favourite from this author.
