I really wanna see him develop actual functional relationships with people (other that granny and his literal employer who pays him for sex) doesn't have to be romantic or anything, just good old platonic friend(s) who can help . Potato (what even is his name) could have been that character who is a good friend on his side but I lost faith in him since he idolizes jk too much. (I.e. potato not realized jk is toxic and being surprised when people he's been an ass to jumped ships)
Itll be so cool if the author actually explores their relationship as abuser and victim instead of whatever us going on rn. Dan is in an extremely toxic situation with no out.
