I agreee I hate romance with these type of stories
Ok I read the LN it literally doesn’t have much he bassically is a dick and rejects the girls in savage ways or plays off their feelings and it basically narrows down to like Tessia and a later girl who isn’t really a love interest but he’s close with. So romance drops a bit but it’s important to story like it justifies certain actions
Rn, all the girls got rejected and i doubt he accepts duruing the *i dont wana spoiler, but what comes soon and Arthur is prepared for* so its gona take a long time till its centered in romance
Fact still remains girls were all over him the first time they met. Even jasmine seems to be leaning in that direction.. (ik shes traumatised from when arthur fell off the cliff, so shes being EXTRA overprotective/sensitive when it comes to arthur) tess confessing and arthur saying he will be with her in the future was a major turn off for me bcs i just want to enjoy my fantasy action without even the tiniest bit of romance :(

I feel like it's kind of realistic - he's good looking, powerful, kind and helpful. And most of the girls his age have been helped by him somehow so it makes sense to develop a crush.
