The villain is the princess /Isabelle? I think this is her name/
She was the mastermind of the FL's real parents' and villagers' deaths, the ML's father's death, the ML's trauma about trusting other people, FL's adoptive father's gambling addiction, FL's and her father's loss of their wealth, and she also owned a gambling house under the name Theressa. She was full of pretense, she faked her limp to make the ML felt guilty and stay by her side for the rest of her life. She also kidnapped FL, fed FL's adoptive father a drug, and broke FL's music box, which was a keepsake from her mother, and didn't even feel guilty about it until the end of the story.
And she didn’t get any punishment.... So I'm dropping this.
