Don’t get me wrong the top is a pos but Dan is so annoying. I hate the spineless couldn’t hurt a fly innocent main character trope. He’s a 30 years old physician who gets unreasonably flustered at a half-naked man.

I also think he's annoying sometimes but I can understand him far better than Spirit. Dancito doesn't know how to stand up for himself, but he's capable, tough, kind, thoughtful, diligent and I'd also like to add that he's such a good worker! Danonito is a good guy. His flaw is not being able to get angry - instead he gets depressed. He needs to talk back but he's too afraid, and I think everyone would be in his place.
People keep talking about his age but it doesn't matter AT ALL.

honestly this story is getting so boring and all bc of Dan ngl feels like he’s braindead and stupid? doesn’t feel like a grown man but like a 14 years old

ofc he’s a good guy a good worker and all but he has to wake tf up bc is starting to get annoying and honestlly can’t stand him for all of that and the more i think about him spending time with that mf red flag horse instead of his grandma it pisses me off.

and the funny thing is that the author made him this way cuz in the beginning he was more.. normal?? now he just cry and cry all the damn time to the point that HE IS ANNOYING and after the chapter where he gets humiliated for the gift (and after he worked until he BLED) i thought ‘oh now maybe he will start to wake tf up’ but OFC the very moment he was accused of switching spray he just.. CRY. So boring at least the top is more fun

No cause REALLL, i hate this manhwa but I keep coming back cause I’m a wh0- for drama, and I was excited for him to WAKE UP and be the 30 year old man he is, but nope that chance of character development was thrown away like nothing?

I totally get it. But I don't think his age matters. He's someone born in poverty and feels trapped by horse's money and power. It's understandable for him to be like that. But yeah, on the beginning I could see him fighting/talking back more and even being more critical of horse (I felt his frustration - how horse could afford to be so selfish, Dan could see how unfair it was)

Because he's sentimental and he had feelings for Jaekyung :( the poor thing! give him a break, he fell in love with the man. I've fallen in love with a red flag too, it's terrible. Dan is an interesting character, his position in the story IS interesting, but the author isn't bringing up some things that she definitely could! I REALLY hope she makes Dan more critical and make him stand up for himself more. Honestly, trauma hurts it doesn't matter the age, idk. I think that Dan thinks that if he stands up for himself it's going to be worse for him. Jaekyung IS very powerful, he IS scary. And I get that Dan could be better, but let's have hope!
