Reminds me of when I read Window to Window and it came out near the end that the MC had had a no-kissing-but-penetrative-sex hookup with someone (when he was still a minor!!!) when the impression we'd been given the whole story was he'd never dated or done anything because he was in love with his friend. Kinda ruined it for me, I've never read it again
I mean it's realistic but still it made the story not as fluffy at it would be hahaha
