i get what you’re saying but to say the female lead deserves everything that’s happening to her is a HEINOUS thing to say. she’s living in a world where nobles do not treat servants right and always have their way with them because of the hierarchy, they think people like lyn are the dust under their shoe. she’s been abused her whole life she probably doesn’t even know when someone is ACTUALLY kind to her and she does appreciate those that have given her nice gestures but even now the maids that were nice to her at first seem to be switching up on her, she truly has no one.
I think the FL lead deserves all of this because she's an idiot. Lyn thought "this is the first time someone has ever been nice to me" when literally everyone was nice to her, especially her childhood friend Mynos, who even gave her food and played with her while she was still in the inn, and every servant in the dukedom has been nice to her since she arrived, including the butcher lady, who gave her extra pork so she could have food for herself. Like, she didn't realise how kind everyone is? She felt ML was the kindest when he simply cleaned her face and offered her a chocolate.
