OMG same! Finally out of gacha and now into ao3 content and interesting manga on this site, mainly tragedy manga
I got an ad for "bj Alex" on Instagram and thought it looked interesting, it was the first thing I read and was thoroughly disappointed so I started out of spite to find something better, ngl it took a while to get actually decent works
honestly I think Bj alex was overrated, the storyline was unique but it was carried out in a typical fashion although it did introduce a new artstyle
So 9 years ago I was searching for anime and accidentally watch seikai icchi hatsukoi and loved it so freaking much. Started watching all the bl anime then found out viewfinder. Read manga coz I wanted to know more abt them (coz ASAMI!!) and rest is history.
for me it was junjou romantica, author truly did an amazing job
The art style is immaculate the relationship was bad, and people say he had a redemption ark for his character but he was sexually abusive. Like I know some people enjoy that, I was more taken aback who would fight on whether it was even sexual abuse which is crazy.
I remember getting into bl 5 years ago from gacha, then accidently clicked on a anime mv instead of a gacha mv, it was a straight anime mv from then onwards i got into anime and somehow while searching for recommendations again accidently found bl anime, from then while searching for the completed story lines of dropped animes I got into mangas, the rest is history, how about the rest of ya'll?
