Is just sad bc this manga is so good that the last chapters feel like some fever dream.

I don’t know if you just don’t realize how much can change in a hundred years. While Tanjiro was in the big city they showed that electricity and cars were already around, not to mention trains. Demon Slayer was set during the early 20th century which is early 1900’s. Just look at how much the US changed in 100 years. We went from horses and carriages to cars, television, phones, computers, medicines, etc were all created within 4 generations of people. Also, idk what incest you’re seeing but there was none. Tanjiro did not marry his sister, he married Kanao, Zenetsu married Nezuko.
Let's say it is realistic after 3 generations to have such city, it still feels out of place to end such a manga w demons w a timeskip. It doesn't feel like it belongs there.
Glad if u enjoyed it but my friends and me did not like it since it doesn't fit and feels like a joke. Esp bringing back all the characters feels like a mockery to their death.
The incest is being the child of Tanjiro and Kanao with the child of Zenitsu and Nezuko. They r ?second? generation cousins and are dating.
They are not dating. If you look at the extra chapter you’d see it says he doesn’t have a girlfriend.
To me it doesn’t feel out of place especially since a running theme throughout the manga was life, death and afterlife. Tanjiro states on multiple occasions that he hopes those who died because of the demons and even the demons themselves get to be reborn and live a wonderful life if possible. Even if it might take longer for the demons to be able to achieve that so to me it makes sense for the Mangaka to show that yes reincarnation did happen for some while others had descendants who were able to live a life without the fear of demons. You don’t have to like it but I and many others enjoyed the time skip.
no need for hundred years, 1 hundred year already enough to change into modern age, especially in asia. look at how north and south korea 360° looks really different even tho both were the same country
The ending in general was rushed regardless. The timeskip wasn’t satisfying or earned—it was simply there bc the author probably didn’t know how to end it.
true tho. i dont think we also need the time skip actually, should have been ended how the way it is. they should end it until nezuko or his brother get married rather than a time skip

AND WDYM THE RECARNATIONS LOOK IDENTICAL W THE MAIN CHARACTERS, AND WDYM THERE IS F INCEST WITHIN THE FAMILY OF KAMADO??????????? I pretend the ending ends with Muzans death!
I NEVER EVER thought that the mangaka will come up w such lazy ending... It is fine to have a tragic ending and not try to bring back the characters that YOU DECIDED just to kill off bc for plot and shock factor. I STILL REMEMBER HOW 2019 ALL MA FRIENDS SOBBED FOR THE DEATHS OF THEIR FAVOURITE. HHHHGGGaAAAAAA
So yes... the ending or idk how u wanna call it "alternative ending" does not exist and is a joke for me.
If that so called "ending" never got published this manga would have been a solid 5/5 but NOOOOO, so yes it shall be a 4.7/5 !!!!
