ykw im actually sick of the scifi genre. sorry if you like it but as a person with super shitty memory it makes everything so bad if im tryna remember five hundred fucking names and an entire new setup and world?? this is exactly why i dont read those esper and guide (??) stories. its too much and i dont understand a single fucking word. sure, sometimes i like a bit of psychological challenge, but as someone who ploughs through so many webtoons a day, i hate having to remember every single detail of an entire universe every time i read a new update.
dont get me wrong, sometimes people can do this genre right for a reader like me, and sometimes people write stories that are perfect for someone to base everything about their personality around. but alot of the time, i want a recap at the start of every chapter, and all of the characters blur into one and im just starting to hate the story and want to drop it. they expect you to remember every single miligram of knowledge about the webtoon when, newsflash! half of the time people arent gonna be completely immersed in your comic all of the time.
