I don't remember the last time I cried reading yuri, other than the news of fluttering feelings author.
... Jiyeon's mom passing broke me though, that was so unexpected that I cried so much because that's my real life fear, I'll probably be broken for months compared to how quickly everyone recovers. She was like a hero and best friends to everyone. It's so crazy how they did her dirty for the story dammit!!!
Other than that, I personally think s3 was great. The arts gotten so much better and decent translation too.
