I genuinely love Brian and he is Ian, I think that’s also why this arc is long, because we’re getting to know Ian through Brian, they’re the same person, and eventually when we go back to present time Ian will regain his memories. They were never two completely different people, you find some of brian in Ian during season 1 (when he kisses Sol for example, it’s so him).
I don’t know but I’m enjoying this arc, it’s not a flashback it’s the beginning of it all, it works for me, I get that it’s long but I believe anything less would have felt rushed. Every thing is so fleshed out thanks to the pace the author chose.
Yeah but the last time we saw Ian, he hated Brian, and he was heartbroken.. It wasnt the right timing to introduce us to Brian. I would have preferred to have a short flashback then seeing Ian accept who he is and then a long flashback.
