This is one of my favorites. The first BL webcomic I ever read, and now I've re-read it 5 years later. But if there's one thing this story taught me, it's that all the aristocrats should die. In a way, I'm delighted that Ryan died by his own poison. He deserved it if only for what he did to Christoph. Kyon put it best at the end when he said: "To not feel sad even though the one you were with has died, I'm sure, that's the saddest thing of all." The scene where Cecilia erased Christoph's memory was the saddest scene of the whole story. Nothing made me cry harder. Because what would we be if the memories of all of the people we've loved and have passed were just wiped from our minds? We wouldn't be us anymore. And I'd argue we wouldn't be human. But aristocrats *aren't* human. They can't understand. Which is precisely why they shouldn't be meddling with humans like they do. Kill all aristocrats.
when they removed christophs memory it made me so mad, because that was NOT ryan’s choice to make, niether was it celias, it was entirely christophs and i know damn well he would’ve never consented had they asked him.
