i like that cedin is the ml but the reason why his development is lacking and all that is because the author is setting up for a huge reveal. it makes sense that the fl is operating the way that she is because she already knows which characters to be wary of. she’s not concerned about cedin because she’s stronger than him and he’s not from this world. he’s also the first person she liked so she’s also biased towards him. from the way that he’s setup, it’s obvious that he will be someone from her past or the curse. hes the only unfamiliar thing. but he could also be another enemy of hers that thing is using or he loved her in one of her regressions. anyway, i just love the characterization of renee so much and i love that cedin is the ml. their dynamic is also one of my favorites—hot + badass gf x pretty + loser bf!! the only thing i’m complaining about is that the novel and the manhwa are at the same place and there’s no way i can get more chapters quickly :(
