leave my boy Skylar alone

I like to critique their relationship rather then hate since many people are so obsessed with them making up and ignoring what the both of them have suffered before meeting eachother. Sometimes people don’t work out especially with this relationship since it can get toxic as we see cirrus get possessive and make Skylar feel guilty to get his own way :( I love them sm man

yes me too, i always appreciate when authors stray from typical narratives to add depth to the plot in this way, because it makes it a lot more interesting imo and it kind of makes you take yourself out of the story and see them as their own ppl. and idk when i eventually finish these typa stories i find myself thinking about them a lot more than the instant love trope plotlines. lol I’m talking out of my ass i hope that makes sense, (i need to stop reading webtoons in the AMs and let my sleep deprived brain cells rest )

They are their own people and not just their relationship so many people forget just because cirrus is mentally ill doesn’t mean he gets to do the things he is doing to Skylar like guilt tripping. Skylar is still new to relationships but learning how to become a better lover in this relationship will be hard since Cirrus is not the best bf (YES I SAID IT!) Plus Skylar has had trauma from his first lover and he still hasn’t fallen inlove with cirrus like cirrus did with him.i have seen that cirrus doesn’t take Skylar’s trauma into account like Skylar does for his trauma. People say that they need to go both ways but forget that this is one of the times Skylar was in the wrong, Cirrus had many wrongs even before they started dating and after. I honestly feel like they do not understand that the relationship Skylar and cirrus has will be terrible. Getting with someone because they are the only person who cares instead of healing yourself from within is unhealthy. You won’t be healed from trauma when with someone, healing is a path you have to take alone mentally and physically who you wish to be as a person then relying on another person to heal you. (I hope I made sense I sound like such a scholar Lmfao(づ￣ ³￣)づ)
