This is a pretty weird take. There is a reason why the age of consent is lower in other countries and it’s all pretty gross reasons. It’s not a council of 16 year olds deciding that, it is a bunch of men in power making that decision.
I like reading stories with dark and problematic themes and agree that people should stay away from it if they don’t like it BUT you don’t need to justify pedophilia, plain and simple.
Isn't it ageist to dismiss the feelings of someone who is legally of age in most other countries? The trend to see everything as pedophilia makes me think there are some deeply buried fetishes. Find a safe space and deal with it. This is not what you're looking for.
