My thoughts on Ritsu

Pretty much everyone here can agree on one thing: Ritsu is an ass :) That pretty much sums up everything about him. However, there are a few things about him I find a bit interesting.
After watching it a few more times, it seemed that he was really guilty about Madoka's suicide. Understandable I mean he missed out the chance to save her cuz he was hooking up with some girl :) man was clearly shocked and then his own guilt has been eating him up ever since, and when he met Masumi again, he was searching for a way to die easy. Moreover, he seemed to be taking sleeping pills but idk since when, my guess was probably since Madoka's death as well.
Looking back how Ritsu and Masumi met, Ritsu found Masumi intriguing. And his first thought was: "I got a feeling he had something I didn't have". My guess was Ritsu probably being curious how it was like to be less famous and just be himself for once. But it didn't matter cuz he went straight back to hook up with some other girls after all ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ That was annoying :)
One final thing about his past, it seemed like his mother has never showed him any true love, and ritsu was smart enough to realize it and always fake his complacent attitude in exchange for everything in his life. Moreover, it seemed during those time when Ritsu and Masumi hung out, he was also observant and keen enough to know Masumi was proud to have him as a boyfriend, further proving that people consider him as a trophy or as he calls it "another decorative feather that his mom adorned herself with" -> that doesn't mean Masumi never loved him, but idk whether that was the reason why he decided to go back being a fuck boy. After a long while, it boiled down to the point where he questioned everything in his life, what he really wanted and what was the meaning in everything he did, he was clearly lost from the beginning and thus wanting to die, Madoka's death was like a jumping point for him to realize this.
Anyway, his mind was twisted from day 1 and he didn't even make effort in covering that up. His morale was also really messed up like he did some tests on others first to see if the pills work, meaning he kinda didn't care if he ended up killing someone. I also think the ending where they both get back together is absurd :)) I do think his thoughts are interesting though lol
