Which I think means Otou-san which is father
so his name is not actually Oto? im aware that it could've been shortened form of otou-san but i thought his actual name was Oto lol ig it was just a nickname derived from "otou"
i always thought it's just a play on words coz Oto sounds just like otou (dad /father in japanese). i also thought the same with Masaki's name and with how Hii-kun calls him "Ma-cha" coz it's like Hii-kun is saying the shortened version of "Mama"
In the side stories he confirmed that Oto is indeed a nickname for “Otou-san” but what’s also funny is his full name is actually Mochizuki Aoto but I think it’s written in different characters in Japanese
saw some clips from the anime and hii-kun was just too cute, decided to finally read this and now im disappointed we didn't get more of yuushuu and oto ueueueue (i love everyone tho just wanna see more those three+michi).
also idk if there's some error in the translation but does michi actually call his dad by his name lol
