Sooooo. I think many of us are in agreement that the MC ain’t it. I hate how authors write the MCs trying to follow the story to a T and they spend so much of their time doing that. Aria admitted that she treated Axel differently than his stepfather and was kinder and then she turned around acting all surprised that he was hurt. In the novel she read about him, it basically said he had abandonment issues. Aria is not the victim. If anything, she should be apologizing. “I ruined the male lead” or whatever the fuck she said.
