Why do you guys read Yaoi?

its been 8 years for me too.i personally find (some) yaoi written better than any other straight romance manga/manhwa. also, almost all tops are really hot lmao.

Dam fr fr , for me yaoi in general has helped me cope with my mental illnesses and caused a few. It's like a temporary remedy that is keeping me alive .

i agrée bl/yaoi is just written better than some straight mangas and I just feel like the plots of yaois are just more entertaining ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Same reading like 9 years , I was otaku before becoming fujoshi for 1 year then i read some yaois like finder and my life with you and my life changed to yaoi and i can't believe I still can't get tired of this genre at all. But so far I m disappointed with plots on manhwa they are making it toxing years by years making uke get beaten by seme in name of being men and other stuff , but i still read.

For me I started my journey with shouju manga , switched to Isekai and finally got into fujoshi land. It's been about 3-4 yrs since I started reading bl / yaoi /shounen ai stuffs . I do not prefer neither favour toxic stuffs but read it from time to time
