I like this idea but what about Misato. Him and Hatano are both similar if you think about it, they both loved the siblings (Ayato and MC), knew them when they’re younger, and they both came to see/confess to the love of their lives years later.
Maybe the one Misato pledged his love to was Hatano but then that wouldn't make sense with the flashback which clearly has a huge high difference in perspective

I’ve reread the earlier chapter and I dont think author pointed out WHEN exactly did mc found out hes living in BL world, all he said was the conversation gradually turned from girls to ‘girly guys’ during his school days. So my theory is that since Hatano fell for him since they were younger so Hatano’s feelings werent moved due to this BL setting. His feelings were genuine and pure, just like any normal human being in the real world, thats why theres no BL flag to destroy
