personally jiwon is a character that grows on you. and i remember my first read, i learned to like him wayyy later on, but i think it took a couple rereads for me to really like him. and omg bi king he's literally me. he's bi, but with a preference to men. and im a bi girl with a preference to girls. he's angry at the world, baby me too. we're both not on good terms with our parents. we're also disappointments to our parents, so realll
jokes aside, i still truly never forget that BJ Alex are very explicit with their sexualities. they're not just straight dudes who for some reason fuck and they would never fuck another guy. BJ Alex is very rooted in a story about queer people and their experiences. We see how different Chanwoo, Jison, and Donggyun deal with being queer AND how their different relationships because they were gay shaped them.
I never get tired of seeing that. So many BL and yaoi dance around what's actually happening. they want to have gay stuff but don't want to actually be gay. But BJ Alex doesn't do that and for all of its' flaws, it got one VERY important thing right.
