Where is this even going at this point? I have no idea what story the author is trying to tell. There's been no character development. Yujeong is still selfish and has an inferiority complex. Seonwoo is an enabler who only seems to like Yujeong because he's pretty because I have no idea what else he sees in him.

This is such a downgrade from The Beast Must Die.

Just remembered from the authors note that THIS is what exactly she intends to do. So personally, i cant really say that it's a downgrade considering we may still be in the builtup for a better storyline. She wants to center on a sensitive ML and an MC who consoles him though I don't know to what extent she's going to take. Hoping that it wouldn't go down the road where MC just accepts ML after a heartfelt communication. Much rather read an arc where MC feels that it isn't going good and they break it off for a hot minute. Only then they would comeback together after ML fixes his self destructive personality. The latter still envelops the author's intention for this season but with more angst
