No. It's not sad ending so don't worry. Not angsty story. And even tho seme look like toxic gwanggong he never act cruel. He is secretly mischief like asking Soun (sorry, not seon lol), to play naked mahjong. He won strike and Soun had no clothes left lol. It's funny, how Soun, tried to run away from demonic sect, but cheonho knew all along and he does the opposite. Like telling Soun, even if he ever find the beggar sect he looking for, and tell other layman to go home. Soun will stay by his side. Forever.
What I find sad is, cheonho did all these things to kept Soun alive and well protected in demonic sect, if he died. But Soun gave up on living long time ago. Soun dream is to die peacefully. So all the murim alliances are restless about Dang family tried to revived Hyeolseon. They sought Chenho help to kill Dang Family before the revival happened. But they also secretly use cheonho as meat shield. If Chenho died during battle. They can get rid of strong enemy. Cheonho knew about this so he strongly insists having a wedding with Seon and make Seon his lawful wife. In case he died in battle, Seon is no longer Dang Family and won't be killed. And as his brother took over as new leader, Seon will be protected.
Seon is brainwashed by Dang Irak to never revealed the truth that he was the level 9 yang blockage to anyone. Seon wanted to say it repeatedly but his brainwashed got in the way. Finally on the day of the wedding, he told Shiryu that he was the one cheonho looking for. The level 9 yang energy blockage. Finally Shiryu understand that seon was brainwashed to never revealed this. But Shiryu still has small ambition to let cheonho die on battle. So he never told cheonho. Seon plead cheonho to spare him some time after the wedding so he could reveal his secret but cheonho mistaken what Seon wanted to say and left to battle (the battle schedule is after the wedding).
Of yeah I forgot. Seon is pregnant. Dang Irak manipulated Yu Hwa (the woman who used to slept with Seon) by gave her golden toad. Yuhwa thought golden toad will make Seon birth control but it turned out change Seon Constitution to be able have male pregnancy.
Dang Irak (with Hyeolseon's soul inside). Kidnapped Seon after the wedding and told him, his plan is disarray because he revealed he was 9 yang blockage. He told Seon his plan was to go to battlefield, defeat Cheonho, and took over Chenho body and return to Seon as his husband and keep having sex with Seon to provide the baby in his womb yin and yang energy. Talk about incest.
He also told Seon, he used to occupy Seon father body, he was the one who banished Seon as baby. Not his real father. But because Seon told his secret to Shiryu. Dang Irak changed his plan because now he can't occupy Cheonho body. His real target is baby in Seon womb. It's baby made from Yin blockage and Yang blockage. The perfect baby.
Fyi. Due to blockage. Both cheonho and seon are not able to live pass 30yo. Cheonho is now 23 yo while Seon is 26. According to his great grand aunt who is legendary doctor, Seon time to remove his blockage is over and Seon will die less than a year. Before the winter end.
Dang irak told seon that he will make sure seon will give birth to the baby. Tbh, the great grand aunt is annoying. He never told cheonho that seon is pregnant.
