it would have to be a loop, so he thinks he's being killed by someone else, but in reality it's something manipulated by him on his orders and MAYBE he might die. idk someone like nikolai could do it by 'following' his orders which could be idk nikolai'd into killing dostoevsky. dunno if his ability will accept it though.
or they could rewrite his ability using the book momentarily
or they could just lock him up, y'know. wonder who'll get taken over if he starved
