Is it worth reading? I only seen chapter 1. He traumatized her in their first life, personally I don’t see your own trauma as justification for hurting others, even due to horrible war. It can be understandable as a reason, but I wouldn’t want them to end up together after smth like that. That really turns me off cause I hate when FL’s end up with people who hurt them before (or other red flags). So, is it gonna turn out like her perspective was exaggerated or she was shitty person too in their first life? Or is it just gonna be forgotten and overlooked, cause in this life he gonna be better and their story will be different? Cause I really can’t skip over past abuse. Feel free to spoil me all u want, webtoon or novel.

If you keep reading, you’ll be able to see why he accused her of what he did and why he assumed that she saw him as a monster. I’m never gonna justify a person‘s action due to the trauma they’ve been through but up until the chapters that have been uploaded, he has never actively tried to emotionally manipulate her or physically abuse her. His intentions were misunderstood and he also misunderstood her intentions. Their communication was awful in their first life and in this life they also have a lot of disagreements too but not in a toxic way. More like a difference of option. He’s a very logical and straightforward person and doesn’t explain his intentions well and because of that mistake she assumes he doesn’t mean well. Don’t get me wrong, it rubs me the wrong way with how he rationalize things but he’s never down right rude to her like “If the boy bullies you he likes you.”
You also find out that someone else was also responsible for making their relationship even worse. Honestly, I would say that it’s that person‘s fault that she ended up dead.

Again, not justifying his actions for doing that. I think he wouldn’t allow her to go out on her own and would only have servants go out and do things for her because he was concerned that another war would break out and she wouldn’t be protected.
At some point, he talks about repairing the wall of the property just in case another war breaks out so in his mind, his PTSD from war is always keeping him on edge and he believes that another war could happen at any point.

They lived in a time where there was peace for so long that when rumors over war was going to happen no one really believed it until it actually happened. They also didn’t realize how horrible it was to be at war.

So, he didn’t let her go out at all? Not even with the servants? Yeah… trauma or not, honestly idk if I can justify that.
