Well... there's mainly 2 kinds of harem. The normal one where mc have usually 3 to 5 woman in love with him and either competing or sharing and... the collector harem.
In this one theres less "romance" but the women are still interested in mc in one way or another. And even if they are only interested as friends authors still stuf a buch of ambiguous or "lucky" situations to use those women as fanservice. And in those most characters around mc are female. There's few man that interact with him, to the point anything that can have a human figure/image ends up being female. Just like his weapon... and maybe that owl in the future.
One prime example of collector harem is "the max level hero has returned". Mc isn't romantically interested in anyone for now, theres only one girl that's openly in love with him. But... 98% of people that surround him are female. Including his weapons and a homunculus.
Also... I hope I'm wrong but I read spoilers that he'll have 5 people he's in charge of and they'll all be female...
But honestly, just looking at the sword empress is enough to discourage me... cuz let's be honest, she is just as bad as the girls from those isekai harems you mentioned.
I'll keep reading for now because I still have hopes for it and I like satan... ...yeah that sounds bad... anyway... ISTG that if he meets the "real" satan and he ends up being a she... that's when I'll drop this.
I hate harem too lmao, but konosuba is the funniest thing ever, I cant dislike it haha
People keep yapping harem this harem that, but is It even harem? Like, I get that there's a bunch of women characters, but that's It. Other than the sword empress the other women don't flirt with him or anything? They're just normal characters that happen to be women, I didn't even realize It was supposed to be a harem(is It even?)
