Just because he got hurt doesnt excuse what he did to others. The rape scene is very beautifully done. It’s so disgusting that it made you realise, throughout his tyranny this was what Isis’s followers experienced from Seth’s followers.
Isn’t it ironic Seth got raped from his own worshippers? I had to admit Mojito’s way of potraying it is very gore but what’s more humiliating to a god when he can’t even fight the very human he used to rule. Seth NEEDS to realised the weight of his sin, even Anubis cannot make Seth come back to his sense. This was the redemption arc he needed. He need to see and emphatised with the humans of the aftermath of his tyranny. (Though i skipped the rape scene or just read the important line)
If you noticed, Horus is the exact opposite of Seth. Although throughout all of his life he was hunt down, live in missery, fear and anxiety but he never wished Seth to feel what he had experienced. THAT what differs them so much.
Don’t worry, have faith in Mojito. Green goblin boggeyman will have a fate worse than death. All of the three siblings (seth , isis and nepth) are being punished for their own actions, we will enjoy a magnificent show once his time comes.
i get what you mean, i already registered that seth’s tyranny and arrogance towards his worshippers would be his down fall eventually. don’t get me wrong, the story is interesting and its definitely more worked on than half of the other BL manhwas i’ve seen, i’m mainly focusing on the fact that the details, the disgust, the reaction and the way you can VISCERALLY FEEL for seth whenever he gets raped really touches me at heart
i really tried to, like, read it again entirely but i can only do so much and i’m just a girl there’s so much rape, like SO much rape, and this isn’t the first time i’ve read a manhwa with rape but the way it’s portrayed is so realistic and unsettling. manhwas like, Jinx or Waterside Night portrays non-consensual sex as super hot and sexy, so I can stomach that for a bit, but in THIS manhwa? IT’S SO AWFUL !! MY POOR BABE, SETH. there was never once in this manhwa where i really enjoyed the sex scenes, it was mostly me being unsettled and desperate for someone to save Seth from his misery.
