Holy shit

This was seriously one of the most well written abusive relationships I've ever come across within BL. Both Uke and Seme are huge pieces of shit, but if I have to choose who I hated more, I'd choose the Uke. Not necessarily because he commited more heinous acts, but because he always seemed to be able to twist the situation in order to make himself out to be a saint.

Seme shows literal signs of a neglected kid, throwing insults, and just being generally cruel towards Uke to see if he'll stick around through it all. Underneath that though, he's desperate for love and affection, growing anxious when he feels deprived of it. And you know the last type of person you should pair with someone like that? A love bomber. A love bomber who will later manipulate their partner before growing bored, eventually dumping them. By the way, this isn't supposed to be a justification, or a flipping of the narrative. I'm just noting what I personally saw. Cause in the end, Seme is just as guilty for acting the way he did. Both of them knew better than to act this way, but did it anyways. A grown adult would understand the ramifications of the action's Seme took, whether they have trauma or not.

Also, Seme seems to have some sort of mental illness? I'm leaning towards BPD, just based on how violent his mood swings are when interacting with Uke. Uke, honestly, I have no idea whats up with him. I was thinking maybe an avoidant attachment style? But some of his actions sort of led me to believe that's not the case? I'm no therapist but these two are fucked up in the head.

I enjoyed the ending unlike most of the audience? I feel like the author tied it up pretty alright (although therapy would be really fucking good).
