Me too I want them to be happy. There is a slight gray area for them to be together for eternity if she chooses to remain human. Because contracted human souls extinguish with every reincarnation. But the Leviathan did say she doesn’t need to consume her soul for power so maybe her soul won’t extinguish?
Oooh I see where this is going. So Eugene reincarnated as the pope. And that means he’s already contracted to another great demon. And now through Percival he brought in Behemoth who wants Lilith to be alive. Behemoth thinks he can see the Vatican as his enemy while he works for them because his real purpose is to look for Lilith. But now we know that Eugene/pope is pretty good at manipulation. Probably lived longer than Behemoth too. And will propose brining Lilith back through Cathrine because the guy is now weirdly obsessed. So it’ll be two great demons against Leviathan to protect Cathrine and her humanity. I feel like she may choose to be Lilith successor though simply because she will be able to live longer with Cesare but then maybe their pact will be affected. Mommy Lilith never did finish saying what she was saying about how the succession will affect their pact. But demons can’t make pacts with other demons so….
