I dont think helios really loves diana, he is considering her more like a duty or something kinda weird.
I mean he is stuck with her during the rest of his life soooo he better get used to her and her weird sh*t

    yeah, maybe he's thinking he already married her so to divorce is such an controversial thing to do and that will be his last resorts

    He 100% does not love her, and his reason for trying to stop Hess has more to do with politics than out of love for Diana like he said. He might have had affection for her in the past, mainly because he thought she represented the ideal partner for him, but now that she's showing her true personality his affection is fleeting.

    Helios loved Diana at the beginning of the novel, however, his love was like a blazing fire that cools down. Hestia cares for Kael like wet cement that is solidifying with trust and love over time.

    Helios and Diana have different wants, needs, morals and can’t compromise in comparison to Hestia and Kael. Helios does care for Diana still, but realizes he needs a partner like Hestia that can collaborate and understand well.

    Diana and Hestia are both stubborn, but Hestia will try to understand and find a mutual solution while Diana won’t.
