Also idk if you guys know this but there's a separate story about Charr and Coal (I its an alternate story/not in the same timeline). That one is very dark and they ended up having incestuous relationship leading up to Charr's death. So I think the author giving a new route to Charr, him having an open relationship with Toby and Tyson is so much better. Hopefully this time Tyson and Toby will look after Coal and Charr won't die .
That’s what I was thinking! The author didn’t want to let Coal to have such a sad backstory, so then created Finding Family with Coal and Charr as side characters who would be happy with real friends and family.
Also, I don’t know if an “open relationship” is the best way to describe the relationship that Toby, Tyson, and Charr have. “Open” refers to anyone (even strangers) who will swap partners and join in, which usually leads to issues and that’s why it has bad connotations (for good reason, obviously). And it may have been “open” at least for Charr, but it’s more like a closed polyamorous relationship because it’s between two boyfriends and their most trusted friend who they both care for so much. I don’t see anything wrong with that. They were leaving the threesome option open solely for Charr for years before Elias came into the picture as their son, and not “open” for any random person.
I think people will understand what I’m getting at, right? (●'◡'●)ノ
Rapist??? I'm so sorry if I have missed something but I truly don't recall that happening (or at least not in this timeline). Could you please tell me where it is? Also Charr is definitely not the most lovable considering his way of thinking or things he did in the alternate comics. I was just talking about chapter 7 he seemed nice and respectful the way he handled Tyson.
It wasn't even a big deal they were experimenting and Tyson has a thing for threesome. Also we can finally see Toby being comfortable with letting Tyson top him. It's showing his consideration for Tysons needs so cute. Also Charr is such lovable character (and hot). Also is it just me or in some of the panels Tyson reminded Charr of his late wife???
