Also, it seems she is being favored, but dont forget that she wasn't even given a proper residence. So while it seems emperor is showering her with gifts he is actually doing what is his responsibility and ensuring she is having a confortable stay. When was confirmed she is a reincarnator, even if not the princess, she should've been treated well enough. But she wasn't and he is correcting that.
